I was really happy when I spied this row of coils in the return spring of my air hammer. Why, you ask? Because if not for this, you'd be looking at rows of holes in a piece of pegboard right now. And how boring would that be? (No pun intended. Get it? "Holes"? "Boring"? nevermind)

And it's a good thing the week is over, because I can't think of a single clever way to tie this to Jimmy Hoffa. The well has run dry. It happens.

This is reaching a little, but I noticed the row of ribs on the rebar in the corner of the shop and thought, "Why not?".

We still didn't find Jimmy Hoffa, but rebar is used to reinforce concrete, which... well...

What good is a drill press without drill bits? And how do we organize drill bits? (all together now) In rows! And it's really useful if the rows are in some kind of container. You see how one thing leads to another?

But nothing here is going to lead you to Jimmy Hoffa.

Last time you got the inside look, today you get the outside. A row of drawers most of which are not nearly as neat as the one I let you look inside of. But such a deal! I got the 5-drawer rollaway, the 5-drawer center box and the 7-drawer top box for under $300. Even asjusted for inflation over the last 3 years, that's still what I'd call a pretty good deal.

And no. I am not hiding Jimmy Hoffa in here. Unless Jimmy Hoffa has been reincarnated as an air wrench or something.

This week's Thematic Photographic challenge is "Rows". Which immediately started me thinking, "Hmmm... what come in rows?". Crops grow in rows. Students sit in rows (if the teacher is lucky). Kernels of corn grow in rows. Shingles are laid in rows. There's rows everywhere!

(Un?)fortunately, I don't live on a farm or teach. There was no corn on the cob in the house, and it was too dark to see the roof outside the house. I was stumped.

Until I remembered that I have a garage. You can find all kinds of stuff in my garage. No, come on now... Jimmy Hoffa disappeared decades before the garage was built. But other than that...

Garage to the rescue. Specifically the workshop in the garage. Which is where this box of collated nails for my nail gun lives. Along with lots of other stuff that comes in rows. So stay tuned. I won't give you Jimmy Hoffa (because he doesn't come in rows!) but there could be some unique spins on the theme to be found here. Assuming nobody else thought of them first.
