These yellow awnings are very popular along the section of Hillsborough Street firectly across from the campus of NC State University. I can understand how the string of convenience stores, pizza places, coffee shops, cheap (and not so cheap) restaurants would be right at home in this environment, but the logic behind the yellow escapes me. The school's colors are red and white. Go figure. Oh and the "Wolf Mart" is a nod to the university mascot, the Wolfpack. Just in case you were wondering.

Through this door will pass future generations of... poultry scientists. Okay, go ahead and laugh, but agriculture feeds the world and like everything else it must advance to keep pace with demand. Enter schools like North Carolina State University where growing the food to feed the world is quite literally a science. All that aside, could you have passed this door with a camera and not shot it?
