Did you think I'd quit with the dogs? Heh. Silly humans.

The first photo is yet another flyball team called Doggone Fast. And if memory serves, the dog's name is Skye. I believe she retires from flyball shortly after this meet.

Next up is my pal Tonka, also known variously as The Tonka Unit, The Tonkanator, Knucklehead, Bonehead, Velcro Dog and a few other things I won't repeat in polite company. This shot was taken when he was about 4 weeks old during an ice storm that had knocked out our power for several days. During that time, he and his momma and siblings and their humans had all squeezed into the one room with a working fireplace and the puppies were given the woodbox lined with cedar shavings when they weren't gnawing on their mom. Everybody stayed warm enough and the woodbox offered up some adorable photo opportunities.

After that is Tonka again several weeks later. By this time his personality had developed into what became known as Canine Binary. Meaning he had two speeds: Wide Open and Fast Asleep. And that mischief you see in his eyes wasn't an act.

And finally we have the much mellower, ever loyal present-day (more or less) Tonka. He's not quite the ripping young stud he once was, but then again, neither am I. I have sharper shots of him, but the expression here is priceless.
