Thematic Photographic 8: "Monochrome" v.6.0
Today we're moving a little further south, but still north of the Mason-Dixon Line. These shots are actually from the latter days of the 20th Century taken during a trip to Washington, DC. To be brutally candid I don't remember exactly what any of them are, though I think the domed building is the National Archives. The other two were taken somewhere at or around the Smithsonian, but 10 years and a lot of brain cells have passed since then and I just can't remember anymore.

i can't even remember where the pictures are from years ago~~one of these days i'm going to find them~~hmmm~yeah, right~
second one looks like the "new" art gallery and the third one is the old smithsonian building.
Nice pictures. :)
@Char: find me some good ones won't ya? *wink*
@JC: I had a feeling you might recognize these and rescue me. (Wasn't it you that said I'd managed to "capture the places in DC you didn't hate" once upon a time?)
