Blue Monday #3: Sky Lehigh

"Lehigh University"
Bethlehem, PA - November 2005 (Click to embiggen)

 Hosted by Smiling Sally

Continuing the higher education theme du jour, I give you this photo taken at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA one crisp fall morning. I don't remember what building this is either, just that the stonework stood out so sharply against that perfect blue sky that I had to photograph it. It was a moral imperative.

Sorry Doc... I've never been to Columbus.

But if I ever get there, I'll be sure to bring back some OSU photos!

You are spot on! That awesome blue sky is perfect with the stones/rocks of the building's facade. Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday!

Actually, you had no alternative. A deep blue sky like this was for ... Sky Watch Friday!! Hope you took an other shot.
Hope you also get something 'deep' ruby, crimson, claret for tomorrow.

Catherine: I thought about using this shot for SWF, but technically SWF is supposed to be "your" sky... and this shot was taken several hundred miles from where I live.

But no worries, I've got a similarly brilliant blue sky for this week's Sky Watch Friday!

This is an amazing shot. I love the blue amongst the brick. It makes it look like a jigsaw or something...love it.
Thank you for sharing your Blue Monday...come by and visit mine too.
Have a great day!

Oh yep - that would make a terrific jigsaw puzz.

It's amazing that the sky can be so many DIFFERNT colors of blue.
