Monochrome Monday #2: Hoosier Daddy
Today I apparently want to look at institutions of higher learning. This photo came from the Great College Road Trip of 2005 and features a building on the campus of Indiana University, Bloomington. Too many miles and years have passed since I took it for me to recall what the building housed. (Any Hoosiers out there want to help me out here?) But I found the angles of the roof compelling. (Obviously.)

beautiful composition!
I like the lines here, too! Come on over to check out what I posted for MM this week. I did it in sepia this time. :D
Wow.. great architecture! This is so interesting!
My Monochrome post is here. Hope you can check it out, too! Thanks!
My wife, Dragonstar, like these sort of shots for their design. We could well have done something similar when we were doing art in college.
That was a while ago.
Love the tiered lines on the roof! Quite stunning in black and white!
The slanting roof is indeed surprising, seeing the rest of the building has a flat roof.
I love buildings, I could have been an architect...
Well framed!
B&W emphasizes the geometric lines. The light against the roof 'plays'. Your talent provide unity to the composition. It looks a little severe, but I suppose it's its function! ; )
Very stark and simple. Excellent!
Nice ...
If this was a contest I'd be roofing for you to win ...

Simple but very effective.
Wonderful shot. I don't know about this photographic meme (?) but I'll check it out. Good stuff.
