Thematic Photographic 18:" Kids" v.1.0
This week's Thematic Photographic prompt is a tough one for me. The theme is "Kids" and my kids are in their 20's now. But living in the state capital, and working downtown near the Capitol District, I managed to catch this field trip on thier way from the old Capitol Building probably to the newer State Legislature Building a couple of blocks north of the original state house. The Veterans Memorial is what you see in the background.

They are definitely in the big city. What cutie-pies.
Love the shot! I can feel the excitement in the children, the symbolism in the statue and most of all, the reminder that I was once a kid on a field trip, too.
I really like this photo... the stately building so serious in the back... and then the fun colors and movement of the children in the foreground. Very nice!
