Wordless Wednesday #31: "Sauratown Woman"

Wordless Wednesday - Button Image by Smarmoofus

I'm on the road with very limited access to the interwebz for a few days this week, but I'll catch up with you when I get back!

And in case you were wondering, I didn't find out about the hostage situation in my hotel until long after it was resolved. That was on the 9th floor and I was asleep on 6... Not that most of you would have reason to know about it.

Yikes! I'm glad it didn't involve you in any way, shape or form. Travel is stressful enough without worrying about random acts of nearby crime.

Come home safe, k?

Hostage situation? I'm somewhat of a news junkie... how do I not know about this? I'm glad you were neither the hostage nor the hostage-taker. Be safe. Nice photo, too. I don't know who the Sauratown Woman is (I'll Google it shortly), but the image is well-captured.

I invite your blog readers to see something that I never imagined possible earlier this year ... Barack & Hillary kissing each other?!?

Glad to know you're fine and that it was resolved...soon I hope. ;)

Love that photo...there is something in her facial expression that was successfully shown by the artist!

Happy WW!

Well, good to know you were not involved in the hostage incident!

Your photo of this figure has piqued my interest. I'm wondering now what her history was.

She looks contemplative -- gazing up (at what? -- the sky, nature, someone standing over her?). Great shot.

Glad to hear you are okay (had not heard about any hostage situation -- scary).

Glad you slept through it.

I'm glad you slept through the hostage situation. Some people claim to be deep sleepers, but mow you have a rather interesting story to prove your point!

The statue is beautiful. I can't imagine all of the work it took to create something that intricate. I just want to rub my hands on that hat.
