Sky Watch Friday #7: Atlantic Beach Pier at Sunset
During the warmer months, freshwater anglers will tell you sunset is the very best time of day to catch a hungry fish. They'll come to the surface to feed on the insects (mainly mosquitoes) that settle on the surface and they're far less wary of a big old chunk of bait that plops down in front of them.
In salt water, this is probably less of an advantage since the surface is never still enough for any natural food to be detected by the fish. But many saltwater fans still swear by sunset as the best chance you'll have all day.
