Sepia Scenes #8: Streetscape

Sepia Scenes - Brought to you by Mary the Teach

This is what Hillsboro Street looks like on a Friday night when school's out at NC State University. The campus is directly across the street from the scene in front of you, but this shot was taken the week before students started arriving for the fall semester. Trust me, this same section of sidewalk looked much different seven days later.

Another nice one! It almost has a golden glow about it.

It does look very peaceful in this photo. I like the tones the sepia has given this photo!

It wouldn't have been the same with all the kids there. ;)
I love the golden glow as well and the shadow of the tree.
The brick walkways add to the feel of an earlier time.

I don't doubt you for a moment, Mojo. School is out for semester break now. Things will be very quiet until winter term starts.

Beautiful, golden light, but I bet it's a lot more fun when school is in session.
