Carmi's prompt for this week is "Bright", which led me to thinking (as it always does) about all the various meanings the word can have. So for openers this week, I decided to drop back to mid-October of this year to the Cary Diwali Festival. (If you're interested in the story behind the festival in general, I discussed it at length in Ruby Tuesday #10 - Special Diwali Edition: "Lakshmi" back in October). For this purpose though, it serves as a triple threat. First, the theme for this year's festival was "Santulan - an Expression of Harmonious Equilibrium", which seems like a pretty bright idea to me. Second, there were many bright items available for sale at the bazaar, and finally you can't have a festival without bright colors. (I think that's actually a rule. Somebody want to check me on that?) A bright trifecta!

Mojo, you have a great portfolio with all of these photographs. Not a bad one in the group. I especially like the first one with all the colors. Great job.
