Thematic Photographic 27: "Shadow" v.2.0 - "Witching Hour"
I'd been waiting for the right chance to use this shot, 'cause I really liked it from the first time I saw it. In case you didn't figure it out, this is from Halloween Night, but more important it's from Tiffowe'en '08". But no, this shot was not remotely related to the Porn Couch Story of myth and legend. This would be the All Hallow's Eve guise of one Kenju of Imagine fame. (Incidentally, Kenju just announced recently that she's gotten the job of decorating the Governor's Mansion for the holidays. So stop by and congratualte her won't you?)

love this... the viewer has so many options for interpretation! superb!
Fantastic! I don't need to comment. A perfect post for Halloween but above all to simply WATCH on many occasions.
I'm mystified trying to figure out what the shadowy figure is doing.
funny how the flames, though now still, change what the object is in front of the fire
Thanks for the immortalization, Mojo! (apparently this is spelled wrong.....LOL).
Thanks for the mention of the Mansion job; however, it isn't mine alone. I work for the guy who actually got the job (Mel Day, Dogwood Tree Floral Designs). He has done it for many years.
the stories this shot evokes
I love the mystique...All Hallow's Eve is my favorite day of the year. This is a one in a million photo.
I feel drawn into this scene - and not because I'm a closet arsonist or anything!
The sense of mystery jumps out at me.
