Happy Birthday Kenju!

She probably thinks I forgot, but what she don't know is ... I ... welll, I have a calendar. Because if I had to rely on my memory...

Anyway, so here's the thing. An amazing blogegr and an awesome human being is finishing another lap around the sun today. The lady who puts the power in the flowers, who puts the "grr" in "girl", who puts the "Ju" in "Kenju". Who... Uh. Actually, she is Kenju.

And I clearly need more coffee. So while I'm doing that, won't you go wish the lady a happy birthday?

I'd been waiting for the right chance to use this shot, 'cause I really liked it from the first time I saw it. In case you didn't figure it out, this is from Halloween Night, but more important it's from Tiffowe'en '08". But no, this shot was not remotely related to the Porn Couch Story of myth and legend. This would be the All Hallow's Eve guise of one Kenju of Imagine fame. (Incidentally, Kenju just announced recently that she's gotten the job of decorating the Governor's Mansion for the holidays. So stop by and congratualte her won't you?)

When bloggers get together to use the word "party" as a verb, it can be pretty interesting. These shots came from "Tiffoween '08" hosted by (wait for it) Tiff of No Accent Yet and Biff Spiffy of Spiffytown. On the guest list we had Kenju of Imagine fame and

Farrago with his eponymous blog Farrago visiting from Chicago.

And of course, yours truly. And a few (gasp) non-bloggers(!) turned up as well. (Most of them were even invited... ask Tiff about the "porn couch" if you visit her... Actually, you probably won't have to. It's probably the subject of -- or a major component of -- her next post.)

Update: For other (more detailed) accounts of Tiffowe'en '08, visit one of the following fine blogs:
