I love old houses, it define how rich a country's heritage. That's why I wanted to visit america not to see the tall sky scrapers but to trace it's rich culture.

I also love all those old houses on Blount Street and I hope none of them get torn down.

Great looking house. They had one like this, not quite so grand, on the main avenue in Highland Park, NJ. It got torn down. Guess no one felt like paying the big bucks to preserve it.

Ah, the days when cotton was king (I was watching some Civil War flicks recently). I suppose they were not the good ole days for some folks.
