That guy's cheating...he's using his motor! But it's still a great image. I really like the way the light is playing on the boat and the water. It creates a really great mood.
I didn't notice the motor but I did notice it's flying the Canadian flag. Coincidently, so is my boat pictured here: http://thepaganeye.blogspot.com/2009/02/photo-hunter-theme-nautical.html
I remember my dad taking us to see "The Tall Ships" whenever they came to New York. I know we saw them from the beach on Long Island a couple of times, and when I was older I saw them in New York Harbor. When the whole fleet of them starts moving together, it's quite the spectacular site!
Now then, I have something exciting to tell you. When I signed on to my Google Reader this evening, guess what I saw under "Top Recommendations"? I saw, "Why, What Have You Heard?", and I was like, "Hey, I know that blog!" :D So I just wanted to let you know - about that 15 minutes, this appears to be yours. ;) Enjoy it!

Ahhh - this is the life of my dreams - by boat at the ocean! I just love it, and your photo really is peaceful :)
Happy Valentine!
love the ideas of solitude and the infinite the lone sail and the sea evoke.
Into the sunset. But no red sails.
This is so beautiful, something to dream of definitely.
Beautiful ...
I love that light!
Happy Valentine's day!
there's something magical about watching a tall ship sail into the sunset..Judith
Wouldn't mind sitting back on that thing with no thoughts about tomorrow. Great shot.
Canadians in Beaufort, North Carolina? Why not as this Malaysian's been to Beaufort too! ;b
Oh, this is magnificent, plus the sunrays glowing. This is perfect.
balmy breezes, sunset, cocktails, friends and laughter...

Hubby wants a boat but too much responsibility and he doesn't have the time to enjoy! :P

The colors in this photo struck me! I love that sky and water! But of course it's a great ship! You must have had perfect lighting for it!
