Ruby Tuesday #25: Hoosier Daddy Part II
The first stop my son and I made on The Great College Road Trip of 2005 was Indiana University at Bloomington. Given that the school colors are red and white, I caught a number of shots appropriate for Ruby Tuesday while we were there. Of course, I had no idea what Ruby Tuesday was in 2005 -- other than a Rolling Stones song of course -- or I might have taken more photos there.

Beautiful red and white contrast!
Do I have red? I just had my dining room painted in "Luxurious Red"!:D
Red and white...fight, fight, fight! (An old football cheer)
I'm thinking you must have a HUGE file of photos. ;-)
Red and White is a fine college color pairing...as ours attend the University of Hartford that owns the same colors, too...A fine color, and like EG notes, one could make a fine school cheer out of these...
And as Ralph reminded me last week, BU (Boston U.) also has red and white as colors. Nice combination of the bright red banners with the subdued, rounded modern architecture.
Red and white are the national colours of my country.
And in colleges in Asia, we see lots of red. :)
The building looks rather new, yet with a definite art decor-ish flair.
Hope your son is having a good time
at the university.
They never know until some decades later how important and wonderful the years of education are.
Have a happy Valentine too.

so what else is ruby tuesday????
The contrast of white building, red flags and all those straight lines is startling, especially with the oval level on top.
Happy Valentines Day! :)
Woops. That was me. Sorry.
College campuses are great for picture taking, aren't they?
Yup. BU has lots of red banners. My younger daughter is a sophomore there.
That's an interesting building with the glass oval on top. I wonder what's up there?
Just like a castle of a new age....with its banners flapping.
Hope he is happy at school!
My RT is up. here, if you get a chance to stop by.
For the record, IU was the first stop on a six-college, 12-state, nine-day trip and wound up not being his final choice. And after 2 years his final choice wound up not being his final choice as well and he transferred to UNC-Greensboro where he's currently in the second semester of his junior year majoring in Music Ed.
Mojo, perfect shot for Ruby Tuesday! My nephew majored in Music Ed in college and then went into the Marines and played in the band for 4 years - after he went to Iraq for 6 months! He's back at school going for a second bachelors in Arabic studies - Go figure! :)
love the angle!
I'm trying to decide if a road trip with you would be grat fun or full of enviable moments.
Mojo: Hang on a sec, let me take a photo
Me: What? of what? Hey! I need to go to the bathroom
Mojo: Just a sec, let me get it from the other side.
:P
Kay: It's only a real problem when I say "Hey, take the wheel so I can get this!"
I love "hoosier daddy..." Still laughing. Nice shot.
A head turner!
Interesting colors Jazz. Wine red. Green gray. Great effect.
