Thematic Photographic 37 "Busted" v.1.0 - Sometimes No Words Will Do

"It Still Ain't a Flying Studebaker"
Raleigh, NC - December 2008 (Click to embiggen)

Thematic Photographic hosted by Carmi - Button Image by Smarmoofus Hosted by Written Inc.

This was originally going to be a candidate for the Shutterday theme "In & Out" back in December, but ultimately I went with the bail bondsman down the street because that shot afforded a better view of the door to the office (which was the central idea behind the theme... doors, windows, portals of some kind). I'd considered using this shot a couple of other times for other themes, but always found something that fit better.

But when Carmi announced that the Thematic Photographic theme for this week was "Busted", I knew I just had to work this one in there somehow.

So I give you the friend to the busted, the bail bondsman. And friend of the court (and the bail bondsman), the bail agent. I guess the two of them have a certain symbiosis, eh?Violence Unsilenced

This made me laugh. There is a Bail Bondsman in Waterbury that is situated above a very nice restaurant. So I'm guessing you can get paged when it's time to go upstairs for your beloved's bail!

You're an interpretive wizard, y'know.

I've always loved the richness of neon, the way it softly cuts through the night. The car in front puts it in perfect perspective. The reflection on the windshield reminds me of a scene in any classic movie. Beautiful.

I love the way you exposed this so that the neon signs seem to be floating in mid-air - great photo!

Mojo, you're a winner! Couldn't be better than this.

Believe it or not, having worked for the Township for a long time, the first thing I thought of was "busted" in that sense. But I was wishing I could see someone in hand cuffs or something to illustrate it.
