Blue Monday #28: At the Bazaar
One of the other features of the Cary Diwali Festival was the bazaar set up in the amphitheater's concession area. Cary and Raleigh have a significant number of immigrants from India and the Subcontinent, and as a result there are a number of shops selling clothing jewelry and foods(!) from the region. Many of these merchants (and restaurants!) had booths in the bazaar. This particular vendor was obviously selling jewelry, and I sort of suspect this piece is largely made of glass (since any kind of gemstone this clear and this large would probably never be displayed so casually!).

Lovely blues! Glass has that advantage, fewer fears displaying it, fewer fears wearing it.
