Even without the title and caption, I would feel like something not good is in that envelope. Must be that sickly yellow. Or maybe when you get particularly bad news, colors fade a bit, the world darkens, and things get blurry as you focus on something that isn't the bad news.

Ahh, I did think the arches were taken with a flash because of the differences in brightness, but I failed to realize that turning the camera would've created the angled shadows. Woops. Thanks for clearing that up.
