Thematic Photographic 44: "Edible" v.1.0 - Shiki Sushi!

"Sushi For Two (and I mean it this time!)"

This week Thematic Photographic explores the "Edible". The mind reels at the possibilities, I tell you. Chances are most of this week we're going to look at a lot of food. But an item needn't be "food" (in the usual sense at least) to be "edible". Technically, all the word means is that you can eat it and it won't make you sick or dead. That applies to a great many things that ... well, I wouldn't consider them food but to each his own I suppose. For instance, I can almost guarantee that there are a number of people who wouldn't touch the sushi delicacies in my opening photo with the proverbial 39 1/2 foot pole. But me? I could have put this away by myself. (I didn't, but I could have.)

It's waaay too pretty to eat! Love how you used the low angle to capture the setting and the context. I can practically feel the conversation going on in the room. High five at pulling off the shot in an obviously low light environment - I would have blurred it big-time. You must have very still hands and a resting heart rate of 45!
