Monochrome Monday #34: The Love Shack? Or Just a Shed?
There's not much of a story to tell here either. This outbuilding sat outside an old house in Pittsboro that had been rented by the son of an old girlfriend and his band. It was isolated enough that they could practice without incurring the wrath of the neighbors and they hosted some pretty legendary parties there too. But the shed didn't factor into those as far as I know. I just thought it made a cool photograph.

Marvellous. I am envious of that one.
Very nice, kind of scarey. I bet it could tell some stories.
Great place for a band to practice. Wonderful b+w treatment.
I don't want to hear the wall's gossip! Shhh, secrets are best kept.
great shot very moody, kinda Blair Witchish.
wonderful!!!!
Something about those branches looks almost alive, as if they're about to swallow up the shack. Very atmospheric.
that looks like the perfect place for a halloween party!
That's a super shot of an old shack, I wonder if it could speak what it would say...
We might not want to know?....lol
An intriguing question ... and even more intriguing photo
It does look a cool place, great mono.
I'll go with Love Shack. Anyplace that encourages the creation of magic, in any form, definitely qualifies.
Love how you lit this. The direct flash nails the contrast and texture to a t.
