Hosted by Written Inc.Technically the theme for the week is simply "Single" -- and defined basically as "one of anything". But I wanted something "singular" -- at least for an opener. And after much searching through the archives (I'm in a class the rest of this week which limits my shooting opportunities a bit) I found something suitable. I don't believe this lady needs any introduction does she?

It is indeed singular! Its such an iconic and familiar image, but I am trying to remember if I've actually seen one for real up close. So classic.

A timeless icon indeed. The rest of the car may be "meh" these days, but somehow, the hood ornament demands attention and respect.
