Ruby Tuesday #43: "Red Light"
Back in January one of my favorite local bands, "Sugar", played a benefit show for a single working mom who'd lost her home to a fire right after the new year. The benefit raised nearly $4600 in just a few hours time. Which is related to this shot only because this is part of the band's lighting setup.

The red seems to enhance the spotlight. It is as if this is a red light, telling us to stop, listen and contribute. Nice!
Nice! It's definitely got that onstage, live show feel to it.
Way to go on the fundraising too, I love a band with a heart.
Good story, Mojo! Generous band, great post! :)
Was the rim red or did you do that?
What a wonderful thing for Sugar to do! The band deserves to be recognized on your blog!
EG: I did a post on the show right after it happened here. It was an awesome night for sure.
Definitely a nice thing to do. Fine shot too!
That was interesting to read !
Generous band with nice lightings :)
My Ruby T is up too.
At first I thought somebody left a pot on the stove at night and you took the shot right before the fire starts - but then I read the Sugar Band story - glad you had a good time!
I'm glad the benefit was a success.
pretty lighting!
cool thing to do for that mom :)
This is a great shot of the lighting..
My entries are posted here and here.
cool beans! on the joking side of life, I have heard of red light districts.... :D
What a wonderful cause and I bet the concert was great too. Really, really bright light!
A true Ruby Tuesday capture and a sweet outcome for that mom that lost her home. :)
Native Rubies
to me it looks like a ball of fire! which i guess is fitting.
Great red! Happy Tuesday!
Your story that illustrates the red light makes me happy.
It's good to see a community coming together and helping out someone who was down on their luck!
Happy Ruby Tuesday!
Awesome photo! Great cause too. Thanks for sharing.
