This is my version of a "fish story". Only in my case, I have evidence to back me up. This chain of beach stores is called "Shark Attack". No I'm not kidding (you can look it up). I'm not sure what it is about a shark attack that the proprietors think will attract customers, but it must do it because there are several of these scattered around the Topsail Island area. Go figure. Personally, I think it represent a little truth in advertising myself, because places like this certainly put a bite on you.

Culture shock. Or disappearance thereof. I often wonder about the zoning committee meetings that precede things like this getting approved. I wonder what they must have been smoking :)
