55 flash fiction friday #69: faithless friend

He heard the noises upstairs. The voice, her voice, calling out the name of his best friend. Dreading but knowing what he would discover, he climbed the stairs to the bedroom.

"How could you?", he cried to her his voice thick with anguish.

"And you!", he said to his friend, "Bad dog! Bad, bad dog!"

I hate when that happens. *ahem*

You know, finding his dog in my bed. Again. But she's addicted to the Sleep Number-ness... who am I to stop her? :)

Awesomely funny. Many years ago my house mate called his cat a traitor cause it wanted to sit on my lap and sleep on my bed instead of his. Pet owners are funny with their pangs of jealousy. (Written by a jealous cat owner...)

Oh, you trickster! You had me.
Dogs in the beds, under the beds, on the beds. I used to have a dog, but she had her own bed.
Thanks for the wit.

Wonder if you're a Grandpa yet. All the best my friend, grandparenting is a breeze compared to parenting. It's fun.
