55 flash fiction friday #80: wait. what?
Note: True story. And significant because normally I wouldn't go anywhere at the beach (or much of anywhere else) without my camera. And if I did, it would be because I'd made a conscious decision not to bring it. This time I simply forgot it. (Distracted much ya think?) I did, however, get this shot of Pop's (which in fact does have some of the best chili dogs I've ever had) a couple of nights before.

That, my friend, is a most excellent kind of forgetfulness. The happy kind.

Nothin better!!
But growing old is a bitch ain't it?
Excellent 55 Mojo.
As for the Cup? It's over, lets move on. Yay!
Thanks for playing, thanks for visiting and your support, and have a Kick Ass Week-End...G
The food must be really good if it makes you forget about everything else. Great 55.
Jeez, didn't know there was a food theme going. I so get this though. I can't travel without my camera either. My 55 is HERE .
very fun 55.
mine is up!
dawgs all the way--Mr Jackson looks for ways to pass by our neighborhood hot dawg stand..great 55
need to write notes on the hand
always great Mojo
I'm up
I suspect it was the company, more than the food, and that is exactly as it should be. Some moments just need to be enjoyed as is, fully present, not behind a lens. (And besides, I'm guessing chili dog + camera = messy unhealthy for camera combination.)

My photography is available for purchase - visit Around the Island Photography and bring home something beautiful today!
I love to sit and reminisce about days gone by...this one had me craving a great hot dog stand and just sitting to watch people.
My 55 is Here As always scroll down below my Friday Show N Tell. Have a great weekend!!!
Got to be a good thing, once in a while. Normally forgetting the camera is kinda like forgetting an arm. She must have been a heck of a lot more interesting than said camera. ;)
I think sometimes the photo gods want us just to enjoy the scene and not snap it! :) ummm, chili dog for lunch today...that sounds divine! :)
Nice pulp fiction hardness to the prose. Hammer Horror for me today. My 55
You forget because of a wonderful distraction. I love hot dogs...from 7-11. Should I admit that? LOL
