If you're not fmailiar with Aline Smithson's blog Lenscratch, you should be. She features not just her own work, but that of a number of other artists the world over. I won't recite her entire CV here, but trust me, it's impressive. So when she opened her blog up to the entire living world asking for submissions for the First Annual Lenscratch 4th of July Exhibition, I sent her this shot (one of my favorites). I'm not sure she knew what she was getting herself into, because the response was epic. I didn't actually count the number of images, but you'll be scrolling for a while to see them all. (I'm about 2/3 of the way down between a baseball game and a parade.) It's worth the time though. The submissions are amazing! So go. See. Be amazed.

I missed out on this one - didn't have something appropriate until it was too late. Oh well, next time.
