indie ink, ya coulda told me!
From the Better Late Than Never Desk, it seems Indie Ink slipped a shot of mine into the queue and forgot to tell me about it. And with the buzz of activity that's been going on lately (my apologies to those I have not caught up with... I'm trying, I swear!) I missed it in my reader. Turns out that II published a photo of mine entitled "Sundown Provision" (which you might have seen in Summer Stock #30 here back in early September) almost a week ago. And I just now found out. But this is always exciting stuff, so I had to share.The editors at II are always looking for new material from emerging writers, artists and the like. So if you have something you'd like to reach a wider audience, submit it to them. Or if you just enjoy fresh, new writing and art, by all means get over there and enjoy!

indie ink does it again - reprise (or: "double feature all the way!")
It seems to be my week for getting published at Indie Ink. This is the second time this week. This time, they chose one of my personal favorites which has also been featured on Fine Art Photoblog as well as a couple of RedBubble Groups. I think we have a winner. (Of course, you saw it here first because you're just cool like that.)The editors at II are always looking for new material from emerging writers, artists and the like. indie ink does it again!
Speaking of My World Tuesday, back around the first of the year -- the first MWT of 2010 in fact -- I posted this gem taken at Topsail Island (Surf City, specifically) on New Year's Eve. Recently I came across it in the archives and liked it well enough to send it to Indie Ink. They must have liked it pretty well because today -- just a few days later -- they published it here.

forgotten indie ink feature!
I had completely forgotten submitting this shot to Indie Ink, and it didn't help that when I did it, it didn't have a title yet. So last night when I got a note from the editors saying they were publishing my photo "Untitled", I couldn't remember what photo they meant. I'm glad they chose this one (which appeared originally here) as it's a personal favorite of mine. The editors at II are always looking for new material from emerging writers, artists and the like. Unless you have a really good memory, you probably won't recall the Macro Monday post where this shot originally appeared. The response here was favorable, and I thought it was unique enough that I sent it to Indie Ink a while back and promptly forgot about it. I'm at Indie Ink Today
You may remember this photo from a recent Thursday Challenge post. I got a lot of positive comments on the shot when I published it here, and it seems the editors at Indie Ink liked it too, because it's scheduled to appear there today. happy 4th of july: featured at lenscratch
who me?
If you're not fmailiar with Aline Smithson's blog Lenscratch, you should be. She features not just her own work, but that of a number of other artists the world over. I won't recite her entire CV here, but trust me, it's impressive. So when she opened her blog up to the entire living world asking for submissions for the First Annual Lenscratch 4th of July Exhibition, I sent her this shot (one of my favorites). I'm not sure she knew what she was getting herself into, because the response was epic. I didn't actually count the number of images, but you'll be scrolling for a while to see them all. (I'm about 2/3 of the way down between a baseball game and a parade.) It's worth the time though. The submissions are amazing! So go. See. Be amazed.

On Indie Ink
If you're not familiar with the site Indie Ink it's a site dedicated to emerging artists of all sorts. Most of the submissions are written works, but they also sometimes feature photography. And today, I'm stoked, I'm awed, I'm humbled and just stupid happy to say one of my shots has been selected to appear there.
