Thematic Photographic 22: Night v.1.0 - Wait Until Dark
This clock stands right on Front Street in Beaufort on the west edge of the lot occupied by The Dock House Restaurant (an exceptional eatery I might add). On this night, I stopped right after dinner (at Clawson's, another exceptional eatery directly across the street) and snapped several shots of the lighted clock face. This one stood out from the crowd to me as it seemingly floated in space, disembodied. I always knew Beaufort was a magical place.Shortly after shooting the clock, I noticed this solitary celestial body in the southern sky (actually, it was slightly southwestern I think, but I didn't have a compass on me). Not sure if it was a star or a planet (figured out later it was Venus), but it looked perfect just hanging there by itself.

I like these ... I love the mystery in these night shots :)
well aren't you the man of the mysterious? I love the body shot so fragile and yet powerful.
thank you for the answer. that's exactly what i was asking
The clock looks suspended in the night sky, so pretty.
Love the clock! The whole point of those of us that LOVE NIGHT is "how late it is" while others we live with wonder WHY we're still awake!
You provided the time :)
