Watery Wednesday #12: What's Up Dock?
If you're going across the Causeway bridge between Atlantic Beach and Morehead City, you might miss this little cluster of docks tucked away beside the main road. In all the times I've been across this bridge, I don't remember ever stopping here before last October when I pulled in behind an under-renovation motel to get a few shots of Morehead City from across Bogue Sound.

Great shot. I like this in the sepia tones and I like the title.
:-)
Wonderful, you know I like docks. I married a doc... :D
Ah..great shot and never would have thought of sepia and clever title. My post is more mundane...
Very nice - and clever title! Sepia was surprising! But it fits the motiv. :)
The sspia tones, gives it a moodiness, its really lovely.

This evokes summertime and dangling your feet in the water.
I like it - especially in sepia!
The sepia gives the impression of years ago photos. Very nice.
Very cool in sepia, Mojo!
Docks are naturally scenic spots ... but often a taking off point into sights beyond.
Great photo, looks good in sepia. Love your title, too, made me smile.
The sepia tones make it look like a summer from years ago filled with memories. Pretty shot.
Great photo all round. Just beautiful, it has a warmth to it that is so inviting.
The last time I shot beside an under-renovation motel, I stuck to sepia as well, and I got the same kind of chills in my spine that I'm feeling now.
Beautifully evocative work, and a timely reminder that we need spend more time taking the roads less travelled.
I love the sepia tone of this photo.

Funny, isn't it, how sometimes we overlook what's right there in front of our noses. Love your title.
