This is where the Linville River begins to give an indication of what's to come. These are the uppermost rapids where the placid headwaters begin a perilous plunge several hundred feet to the valley below.Violence Unsilenced

Fantastic light, looks like a silver crumpled sheet. Great effect. I miss just the sound.

Soon as I laid eyes on this I felt a pull in one direction as if beng swept downstream. Looking forward to the journey. Nice grouping of light in the centre.

Nice. I'm partial to fast moving water in rivers. Rivers and valleys. Lots of those here too. I love it.
