People tell you what they want you to know. And often so much less.
Telling your story makes it part of the listener's, too. It's always complicated.
...and yet, somehow, this strikes me as the most compelling argument I've ever heard- for unsilencing.

Love it! Sounds like me, watching what I say in case I cause either of those outcomes. And then on other occasions, I wish I had said nothing. Though of course, people don't always tell the truth anyway.
