10,000? Who Would Have Thought?

Dec 20 2008 2:38:49 am Miami, Florida makes it an even 10,000 visitors.

Who knew?

Rewind to June 4, 2008 when I added the Sitemeter tracking device to my template. And "Within hours I noticed that my traffic had doubled. That's right, a 100% increase. I had two. And they were both me."

And in the time since then I've watched the curve steepen as the hits reached 1000, 2500, 5000 doubling every couple of months. I can't touch the uberbloggers that are hitting the 10k mark every month. But to go from virtually nobody to 10,000 somebodies in just a tick over six months?

I am astonished. I am humbled. And I couldn't have done it without you. Or at least I wouldn't have wanted to. Because it's the readers that keep bloggers blogging.

So yeah... thanks for this. It's better than any award.

Wow, that is a lot. I only get maybe 70, I think the most has been 200. I think it is because you take nice pictures. I like them. Congratulations.
