I'm lovin' the geometry of this shot. Even the lighting is perfect - especially in the way it subtly influences the area upstream, to the right of center-stream. You couldn't take a substandard photo if you tried :)

@Carmi: Actually I take substandard photos all the time... I'm just the only one who ever sees them. Somebody once told me that the big difference between the professional and the casual photographer is the size of the trash can.

@tarheel: It amazes me still -- though I should be used to it by now -- how what started out as an ordinary shot becomes extraordinary as soon as you toss the color out. This was a nice little shot in color, but not nearly as dramatic as it is in black and white.
