55 Flash Fiction Friday (#14): Chapter 7 - Vah Khallas Hai

(Don't worry, you didn't miss anything. We now resume our regularly scheduled program at the point it was interrupted.)
Some stories are the same in any language.
The night breeze carried their surprised cackles at the gift she had left them through the open window. If she looked, she believed she could see the delight in their yellow eyes as they feasted on the hulk that had been Vinay. The hyenas would dispose of the evidence, and no one would look twice.

Notes:
vah khallas hai: that is finished, that is done

LOL @ Daryl :D

yes, in that particular part of India, Hyenas would sure love to feast upon one of their own ( albiet figuratively so)

She is a clever girl, knows how to dispose evidence well indeed!!

55 Flash is a difficult genre in the blogosphere. Well done. Hyenas and all...

Thank you for displaying the BlogBlast banner and encouraging people to join the peace train. I am so encouraged by the new bloggers who've decided to take part. But a word of warning: Once you start you can't stop. It's highly addictive.

Words are powerful. And this matters.
