55 Flash Fiction Friday #27: Chapter 19 - Dard


Some stories are the same in any language.
Nearly two years she had borne the indignities, the pain, keeping silent thinking she could spare others these abominations. Sarika's rape had changed all that. The tight slap across his face startled. But in a split-second his confusion turned to blind, seething rage. And in that moment began the last mistake he would ever make.
