55 Flash Fiction Friday #30: Chapter 22 - Andheraa



Some stories are the same in any language.
She woke in the darkness to the sound of cheering, of crackers bursting or perhaps rifles fired into the air. How long she had lain there senseless she didn't know. Nor would she have time to figure, because at that moment the door cracked open revealing the silhouette she knew too well. Vinay had come.

The ominous shadow looms large...the darkness is very symbolic and prophetic of what is to come...
